Nicola Forbes fundraises for C

For Nicola (15) hopes to be part of an expedition to China and Mongolia, and carry out voluntary work replica clothing with street children, when she gets there.

And in doing that, she would be following in the footsteps of her older sister Gemma who took part in a similar project.

Nicola said: "I saw my sister doing it and I am interested in helping out in the community and trekking.



"I will be doing voluntary work, maybe with street children and there will be a trekking phase."

Nicola, who hopes eventually to be a vet, will be setting out, along wholesale colthing with a teacher, in June
embroidered patches 2011, just after she turns 17.

It seems a long way off, but she has to raise A[pounds sterling]3500 to take up her place.

She is holding a prize bingo this Tuesday, February 2, in Carluke Masonic Hall, with eyes down at 7.30pm. Entry costs A[pounds sterling]1, including tea, from Nicola on 01555 772585 or on the door.
