THE NSPCC's Bristol branch fund-raising group is on the lookout for a new chairman after bidding farewell to TV and radio presenter Susan Osman, who has left to host a primetime radio breakfast show, The Beijing Hour, in China.
Susan joined the NSPCC fundraising group in 2007 and has chaired volunteer meetings in the city, as well as representing city fund raisers at national NSPCC meetings. She helped generate donations totalling several thousand pounds.

During Susan's involvement, the NSPCC's work in the city has included supporting children affected by domestic abuse, those who display sexually harmful behaviour, and direct services in local schools. Since 2006, the NSPCC has also provided ChildLine (0800 1111), the UK's free, confidential 24-hour helpline for children and young people.
