A TEENAGE con artist stole cash and goods from elderly women after telling them he was there to help them.
The distraction burglar struck three times on New Year's Eve calling at houses in Warwick and Kenilworth.
He stole at least pounds 50 from one 81-year-old woman.

Her handbag was taken from the lounge and pounds 10 cash, spectacles and letters stolen from it.
Detectives are linking this with a similar incident in Hampton Road, Warwick, at about 9am.
A man claimed he was reminding people to leave newspapers out for collection. The female home owner became suspicious and told him to leave. Nothing was taken.

Between 10.30am and 11.30am, a man called at the home of an 81-year-old woman, in Dudley Road, Kenilworth. He told her he would remove all her rubbish if she made him and a friend a cup of tea. Police believe a second man went into the house and stole her pension book and pounds 50.
He is described as about 18, with a round face, short hair, and wearing a grey top.
